1980 Cadillac El Dorado. In fair shape. Interior is clean, the only problem with the interior is the headliner sags a bit. Runs and drives fan. Equipped with a fuel mileage computer. Has a v8 Im guessing a 305. Car is located in Kenosha at Hy way sales. Theyre asking 1800 but I think they will come down some. Call 262-859-9400

As for the motor, it's definately not a Chevy 305, the distributor is on the front of the motor. Maybe a Caddy 4.1? :confused

that's a caddy motor...it's the 368...

the 4.1 was a buick v6 for 81, the 350 was an old's engine....of course, the diesel wouldn't have a distributer, nor would it likely still be intact. And it's a year prior to the v8-6-4, so it's not that misbegotten engine and the caddy 4.1 didn't come until 82.

the aluminum 4.1 would be too doggy to move that boat. Has enough issues w/ our '87 ElDorado to really get movin'

That 368 would have a shit ton of potential.

The Bu wagon with iroc wheels has more potential ?
Who's Caddy is it anyway ?

What potential? You probably couldn't swap on a set of decent heads, probably no headers out there for the FWD set-up, probably could do a decent cam, intake, carb, and ignition; but if the head flow's like junk (likely), you'd probably be at less than 250hp, have crappy driveability, narrow powerband, etc...you couldn't build decent compression likely due to the lack of performance piston availability...

The only potential would be to swap in a 472 or 500...and then make sure the drivetrain can live behind it (shouldn't be too hard, many decently hi-powered examples out there).

Think the Malibu wagon next to it is going to get alot more attention....FWD Malaise era Caddy's probably don't do much for folks on this board. No offense.

The Bu' has S-10 wheels it looks like... definitely not ZQ8's.
