I have to write a classical argument paper.
and i decided to do the paper on why street racing is bad.
If anyone has any news links or any HARD facts on street racing could you please pass them my way.
And even if you have a source saying that street racing is good send it to me.
I know some people save threads/News links on street racing so i'm seeing if any of you have any info thanks.

How are you going to argue a positive on street racing? It provides a better ego boost then Enzyte?

"It had hills, something Simcoe needed for a running start because first gear in his 1993 Honda Civic EX didn't work.
Simcoe says he hit 110 mph really fast. "
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
He needed to race down hill his car was such a turd
How fast can you really hit 100 in a 93 civic? 30 seconds?

i agree... but i figured it would be a good topic to do my paper, seeing as there are so many deaths and accidents due to street racing.
but thanks for the advice guys
Street racing is proof that chivalry is NOT dead. That was a topic of a paper that i wrote when i was a senior in high school.

Agreed! I'm going on 16 years old next Monday and I've grown up around this lifestyle and if the government would shut down a certain street just for it (with no through traffic) like a dragstrip but to settle grudges I think they would be better off! Because it's always fun winning a race in front of your buddies or even just cruising with friends! If they would just close off a strip so people could cruise and people could sit on the sides and listen and watch the cars! That would be awesome :headbang

And when I was in 8th grade i also wrote a paper about street/drag racing and the culture of it and muscle cars! I added some great stories with Scottie K and many others!

I remember that, hit a guy just south of oklahoma, then took off. I mean street racing will never be as safe as the track, but a little bit of common sence would help. why would you go over 100 mph on that part of hwy 100?

yes but it's not the same! (your supervised) :rolf and they make RSD for it but if your out on the street or get a phone call with someone talking smack and want to shut them up it's easier and cheaper to settle it close to home and on the street! plus when most street racing happens (11am or later) most times GLD isn't open!

I was driving on the other side of highway 100 after it happened. He hit a Dodge Neon, and the car was practically non-existent....half of the car was missing that's how hard he hit them.

clint ended up with the scoop off the sti, i guess it came of in prefact shape. but yeah it sounded pretty bad, but for real what idiot would run that fact with cross traffic.

There is no argument of a negative point when there is no positive.
You can start here:

Apparently, street racing leads to drama and profanity.
BTW, I was there that night and it was pure comedy gold.
