An Infinity Ward insider has spoken out about the launch of the new map packs for Xbox Live king Call of Duty 4, noting the developer is currently aiming for a release this Friday, April 4.


Bowling continues, "For those of you asking when you should take off work, I'd take off Friday, as it looks like they should be available late Thursday night / early Friday morning, which means Friday you should be able to play all day." We approached Activision for confirmation, but the publisher was unavailable for comment.

Costing 800 Microsoft Points, the pack contains four new maps for the online component of the game - currently trumping Halo 3 on Xbox Live - and you can appease your curiosity by checking our preview, should you so desire.

Sub guns hitting from accross the map??? .223 doing more damage than the .308?? That's one thing I can give props to in Tom Clancy's games and books, you can tell he knows about guns!!!

you realise that everygun in a tom clancy game is more accurate when shooting from the hip?

reason why xbox got it was because of some exclusive deal thing, same thing with GTA. cept xbox gets the content a month or 2 earlier

i had that same problem coop. just stick with it. and if your percentage meter isnt changing try hitting cancel download and then hit download again. mine stuck on the same percentage for awhile and i cancelled and restarted and the number changed everytime i did that.

I think I was playing with your kid last weekend. He racked up like 30 kills a game, and I purposely did stuff to drive you nuts (like place random claymores that you walked into about 10 times), and not a peep. yeah i finally got mine too. but magically some points went through and it didn't even tell me. So im hoping the 100 other times i tried to get points didn't go through because im gonna be one pissed off person calling MS if i have like 1 million points....
