So instead of going to the doc for meds, I put the wheels on. I'm happy again.:D

How did you get BMW logo's on the aftermarket wheels? vinyl?

Flight_740
04-02-2008, 04:47 PM
They are just plugs but the SSR GT3's on mine and the M paralels on my dads are basicly BMW wheels.

What'd you end up doing about the corner lenses? They look great.

I took them apart and dusted them with flat black to smoke them.

You like it? I'm not sure how I feel about them yet.

The car is going down 2" shortly on an Eibach pro kit.

Do you have a bigger picture of the lenses? How'd you end up gluing them back together?

I've got the Eibach pro kit for the Mustang, as well. I've heard excellent reviews from Mustang guys who've used them. Kinda kicking myself because I found the slightly more "hardcore" Eibach springs after I bought these for like $20 less.

No close ups yet but I sealed them back up with silicone.

I hope to order the kit in a few days. $250 for all 4 corners is not bad.

Thanks for the compliments guys. She's no muscle car but she'll do for now.:thumbsup

The LI is the new body 7 series. I'm not a fan of the "Bangle butt" 7 series. For me I love my chassis. The E38.

very nice! I was about to say, needs a drop! but your already two steps ahead of me. I plan on doing a 1" drop on my e39 with the m-parallels in the next couple months.

What springs are you going to use?

Eibach for me is 1.3 front and rear.

H&R is 2 front .5 rear. I'm not sure of the look I want. Raked or slammed.

I should be in the low 10's.:goof

From what I hear they do 15.50's stock. Not bad for a TANK. She likes the freeway a lot though.:devil If it were not for that stupid speed limiter:fire

2.5 or .5? Just thought maybe it was a typo. I dont think it being lowered that much in the front and so little in the rear would look good if you correctly typed .5.

Yea, I typed right. It actually looks really nice. But so does an even drop.

The rear sits that much higher...doesn't really look like it from the pics. That is a sweet ass Bimmer tho.

Deggy

I take that back, I looked again and the rear does sit fairly lower than the front...even a small drop would look sick.

I've had H&R springs on a couple cars and I hated them. The spring rates change, and they sag after time. So with that being said I will never buy H&R's again. I'm just going to go with the Eibach pro kit. !" I believe all around is all I want.
