1936 Chevrolet Low Cab Pickup Truck $16,200
This is an unfinished but drivable street rod.
It has a fully boxed ladder type frame with Michael Thomas Enterprises Mustang II front suspension (tubular A arms and Chrome Coil over shocks). Rear suspension was purchased from Total Cost Involved (Chrome 4 link with Chrome Coil over shocks). Power disc brakes are installed front and rear. Rear Axel is a 9” Ford with 3.50 gears and Trac Loc. Truck has custom B. Coddington wheels and BF Goodrich tires.
Power comes from a New HO 502 GM crate motor. The motor is rated at 450 HP and 550 LB of torque. Engine has a new 800cfm carburetor with electric choke, new HEI distributor and Sanderson Jet-Hot coated block-hugger headers. The modified GM 400 turbo transmission and custom torque converter were purchased from TPI.
The 1936 Chevrolet Pickup Cab and frame were chemically striped and primed with PPG DP primer. There is no bondo or filler on this truck. The cab was sectioned (lowered) 4” and channeled over the frame 2 ½”.
I have most of the interior materials but they are not installed.
I have logged over 2000 miles on this truck, it drives straight and smooth. I have an album of the construction progress and an album full of receipts and tech information on most of the installed items.
