Long block ls1 motor. was a warranty take out. was told it was for the piston slapping issue. was taken out of a 2000 SS. Good motor to use as core if you dont have one, or for a cheap rebuild while you continue to drive yours

$1000 intake to oil pan(no injectors though)

I got the motor by calling up AER(Automotive Engine Rebuilders) in waukesha. they have done a LOT of my previous work on other cars. I asked them to find me one and one of the guy's buddy had it laying around. He said it was removed out of a 2000 SS w/ ~ 20k miles on it. Speed Inc. has a $1500 core charge just for a shortblock so that's why I bought it. I paid $1000 for it and just don't need it anymore. Found something else. I was told it was removed due to the piston slapping issue. Hell, you could buy this one Tom, do your forged internal motor, and sell your running complete motor for a ton more than I'm asking. Ebay's got them going 1800-2000. It'd be like making 800-1000 since you are gonna build it anyways.

However that 12 bolt set me back...... It would be a small amount of time before i could have the physical cash in hand.

I may just have to take second dibs on this if turns out that Tom doesn't want it. Just got to start parting out the Turbo Buick to get some funds...
