Well my uncle bought an 06 mustang gt this past fall with 3k miles on it. He recently added a rousch supercharger and other bolt ons such as exhaust, intake ect. We took it out to a country road up north by his house and ran a 12.9 @ 109 well thats atleast what the gtech said. not sure how accurate those are.....What should he be in as far as hp and 1/4 mile times. Just curious.

STANMAN ran 13.3ish in his N/A GT..

A Roush charger, exhaust, ect, ect, should be about 420 WHP I would guess.. I hope he got it tuned.. If not hes probably around 400 WHP..

mid 12s is typically what a stock stage 3 or 427r run

with a professional driver, slicks, prepped track, and a strong tailwind. most guys that i talk to with their ROUSHs are running high 12s-low 13s :thumbsup granted there are a couple that i have seen that are low 12s and even one high 11 slip, but those cars are probably not stock tuned and the drivers are as close to pro as you can find.

He should see about 350RWHP if it's the stock pulley (you can get other pullies to make more boost, but not much, the Roushchargers are pretty small) and should be able to run mid to high 12's. Just my opinion, others may vary.

I have a 2007 Mustang GT with a Paxton blower. I have 442 RWHP and I get 12:80 in the 1/4 mile at 111.0 MPH. Granted...I should probably do better, but I have traction issues to still address. I take off at idle otherwise I do not hook up. Forest built my car so he could give more details. As far as a roots blower goes...I'm not really sure where you should be, but mid to high 12's is a good bet.

the new ones come with a smaller pulley and a little leaner tune so they are seeing around 370 RWHP :thumbsup

depending when he bought the blower, his should have those updates. and even without those, the stock 427R with larger pulley and super safe tune that we dynoed last year did 364 RWHP.

tell your uncle to get a custom tune if he is running the ROUSH one, they are too conservative IMO. remember, they have a warranty to worry about.

I don't have any experience with any Rousch stuff, but I would think they would go a little faster at the track.

Traction problems. They have the HP to go fast, but they need suspension work.

I've been a member for a while but never really posted until lately. I know a few guys on here including you of course. I hired a member of this forum just this week and he kind of kicked me in gear. Hope to see you and that killer stang out and about this summer.

Dave!!! Good to see you here! When do you wanna talk about those traction issues again? Check the post on the Dyno event were throwing in June. Also, as for the ROUSH blower, I'm sorry to hear your loss, $$$$$.$$ was very close to you I know, and you will miss it dearly, but not to worry, Kenne Bell will be there to pick up the pieces...... HAHA J/K with you run whatcha brung right? 400-420rwhp is possible but if you run the blower too hard, it will FAIL. BAD.
