Well I didn't want to jinks it before the closing so this is whats up.
The Mrs and I had been house shopping the entire month of Feb. We first though Oak Creek was where we wanted to be as it would have been closer to my job. Everything we looked at in our price range either needed serious work or was snapped up so quick we couldn't get to see them in time.
(y2kws6) Dan and Jackie had sent me a listing for their home in Greenfield. We didn't consider it at first but did a showing the last week of Feb and decided to make an offer. The house was basically in move in condition. They took very good care of this home. Newer roof, siding,asphalt driveway and the furnace was replaced under warranty...... They included appliances full size pool table that had been re-felted and newer balls,and a fridge in the basement behind the wet bar.
Well after a couple of counter offers the deal was made and we closed yesterday afternoon. Dan and Jackie were super people to deal with. They even left Jean and I a couple of house warming gifts.
This is not my first home but it is for Jean. She had kids young and did her career later so it never worked out for her. Her Birthday is Tuesday so this happens to be the best Present she has ever received.
I just wanted to thank Dan and Jackie publicly on the board and say had it not been for BCM It probably would never have happened.
