not only did I find a set of SUPER hard to find 64 Bel Air/Biscayne kick panels this week, but I scored this guy just now too! 105 amp, 1-wire hook-up: $70 shipped! :stare I had been discouraged at the $130 Powermasters until I found this little gem! Operation De-bling my engine compartment continues!

Are you going to put it in like that or are you painting stuff to match the body?

I'm a big fan of the non bling / clean look.

I could never cut the hood though :( I love old skool fuel injection set ups though. I knew a kid in high school who'd dad had a 63 nova with a built 327, 4 speed, 9" with CRAZY gearing (like 5.23s) and an old Enderle injection set-up. SUPER cool! :thumbsup

here is what I worked on this weekend with the car...I scored these super hard to find kick panels for the car and couldn't WAIT to get them in.

old kick panel out. Vent restored, all new hardware, fixed broken flapper return spring. Notice the solid old steel :) I was happy to find this was really solid.

new kick panel in. I still need to insulate them but they are in. :) The color is a hair off the door panel color but then again the door panel color isn't correct anyways
