Got an airbag code in our 1993 Mercury Sable. Code 42 (light blinks 4 times, then short pause, then 2 blinks) so one would assume its code 42. Anyone know that this means and how to stop that ****** light from blinking? (aside from covering it with electrical tape or removing the bulb)

ok so I found this:
"Primary Crash Sensor #2 Feed/Return Circuit - Open"

Where the **** do I start with that one? Which ****** sensor is sensor #2? My guess could be corrosion in the connector. Thats what I would personally check first, but I have no idea which sensor is #2 or where it is.

ok so I have figured out there is a sensor in the core support above the radiator, and one in the rear, inside the left rear kickpanel. I'd guess the rear one is #2?

what about the sensor on the core suport..for the air bag...just a guess.....
