That supra is another Titan Car it did indeed poop out the Driveshaft. (@740) not too sure what the BL Car broke. but i think it was a DS. lots of problems this weekend.

The Supra was made here till 1998 and in Japan till 2002? i believe.

I think you're right flick, they made the Supra RZ for a few more years (which had vvti... basically Toyota's variable valve timing). I did a quick search and couldn't find what the last year for the RZ was. Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda, and Nissan all killed their GT cars because at the time SUVs were the craze and no one was buying sportscars.
*Sigh* maybe one of these years I'll make it to the Texas meet. Had I been thinking when we made our plans for our vacation this year... I suppose we could've gone, but it would have been without the Supra. I would have had to drive it down and have my wife and kid fly... somehow the logistics of that sound kinda messy. One of these years, maybe I'll have a trailer for the Supra and a vehicle that can tow it... then I can go. :)

ND4SPD. Let me know if you end up going. I know there was a good group of Wisconsin people that were planning on going to TX this year but the majority had to bail. Weather it was do to cars not being done, not being able to get off work. or just the extra funds to take the trip. But i not miss it next year.
