PS3 dead

Just bought my ps3 on 11/24/07 and its dead already. Won't read blu-ray movies or games. Pretty disapointed. Sony said theyll send me a new one, but it takes up to 3 weeks. Oh well, guess ill just have to go back to nintendo for a while.

The ratio of this happening is probably around 200/1. Every system/electronic has good one and bad ones. In the case of the 360, now that is a different story all on its own. The 360's owned themselves all on their own.:)

Not really sure what happens to it. It won't recognize that there is a movie or game in there, but it still plays everything you have saved on the hard-drive. They said its something to do with the blu-ray laser. I have a lot of hours on it to, probably around 400. Been off work for 4 months after surgery so its been getting its workout.
