View Full Version : Gauge for my truck

I bought a gauge pod to put my air pressure gauge in and now I need to find another gauge to fill the second hole. Any suggestions? I already have a tranny temp, tach, speedo, fuel, water temp, and voltage gauge in the stock dash and I do NOT want an A/F gauge. I was thinking exhaust temp, but I don't have a diesel so not really necessary. Otherwise if someone has a single they would trade for a double, let me know ;-)

best thing i put in my truck. Tells you anything you want to know that your computer puts out. Also you can view and clear codes with it.

dont bother with the inteceptor gauge when you could own a dashhawk.. for the same price you get 10x the product... msd ftw

Haha, single readout is 400 bucks. I think I'm going to start shopping for single gauge pods again.

$250. It was $350 when I got it when it came out. It has two AUX ports too that you can hook up 2 other sensors of your choice to so you can add on. Plugs right into your OBD port.

I added one to my cart and it came to 399? 250 seems steep as well, I won't use half of what it has to offer I'm sure of it.

where were you shopping from though??

and whats so good about the dashhawk? It has the same readouts as the interceptor.

Is your trans temp a sweeping gauge or one of the choices in your digital display? If it's the latter, I'd to the trans gauge. Then you can have the selection on trip, mpg., etc and always have an eye on the trans.

I bought the Edge Insight for my truck but sounds like you don't want to spend that kind of $$ and without a diesel, it's a lot harder to justify buyging one of those.

I guess for maybe $50 you could do outside temp or a vacuum gauge.

I love my Interceptor gauge and paid $250 for it when it first came out, that beta tape sixed thing that sits on the dash ehh not so much and I dont need all that GM specific garbage.

If you really want to know all that info, a used Preditor would do it all for a lot cheaper if I'm not mistaken. If you just want to fill the hole, I'd go with outside temp or fuel pressure.
