1987 Buick Grand National Model 1:24 Scale

Here is a model I've been working on over winter of a 1987 Buick Grand National.

I airbrushed the body gloss black but it came out with some orange peel so I wound up stripping the damn thing and starting over. I'll update this thread in the future when I finish the car.

I haven't built a model in some time but that work looks damn good to me. I wish I had the time/patience to do that currently.....

I used to buy pre-built 1/18 cars. Not enough patience to build one and not a fan of the smaller scale.

I still have the Ferrari and the Viper. Ferrari has a trick suspension setup in the rear that's just like the real car. Viper is the same color and style (minus the gold wheels) as the last GTS Vipers that rolled off the line, but came way before that.

I have a cute little '79 Z28 scale model that I keep planning on putting together and painting to look like my "real-life" Camaro, but it'll probably sit there, unassembled in it's little box, until the end of time.......
