Well, yesterday since Krisite and I were up north visiting her parents/grandparents for Easter we figured we'd stop out and see the Mach which is stored near Stevens Point...

We got there and there's about... 12-18" of snow in front of the garage/in the driveway, but we tredged on... And it started right up :thumbsup The battery wasn't dead or anything :) Now I just can't wait for the snow to melt, the rain to come and for us to be able to pull her out again :thumbsup

Here's a couple videos... BTW my commentary is way off when I said 8" of snow...

what a phag. Open up the garage door, hold gas pedal to the floor, dump the clutch with it in reverse and just plow through the snow.

I didn't know Machs had a functional intake scoop, that's pretty sweet. Seems like there'd be an aftermarket that would flow better though.

Car looks good, can't wait to see it out on the street! Nice to meet you at BWW, too. :thumbsup

Good to meet ya too... :thumbsup

The hood scoop (shaker) is functional, and the only thing that you can replace to make it flow better is the rubber tube that goes from the shaker to the air box, and from the air box to the maf and to the throttle body... But I won't be doing that... Seeing that the car is 100% Stock, and staying that way...

Ah, going to make a collector's car out of it?

I can't resist modding any sports car I buy.

That's the plan... it's 1 of 842 ('04 Black 40th Anniversary IUP 5-Speed)

My only plans are to get some wider Mach look-alike rims for the back and drag radials so when I take it to the track it'll actually hook...

Fix that oil burning problem on your 5.0 and then worry about modding it.

I'm really not surprised at all that a modern fuel injected car would start up.

I'll have fun driving my 1 of 347 (05/Blue/Blue/M6/17's) car home tonight.

Yes, but unlike your GTO the battery wasn't dead... :thumbsup

Wouldn't the chin spoiler work well enough as a snow plow?

Nah I don't give a shit if it burns oil. I'm not gonna mess around with the motor this year anyhow unless it blows up. Planning to put a new engine in over the winter if things go well.

Don't feel bad man. It's in the 70's down here and I've put about 50 miles on the Camaro in the past year, and theres never any snow down here. :stare It's supposed to get down to the 30's tonight (oh no!) so I turned the heat on. I took the car to FL this weekend, about 750 miles round trip.

And that picture is a little weird...........

Ours is 3 hours away right outside of Stevens Point

Actually, it works rather well. Just not when you go in a ditch with it, then it breaks into a couple pieces.
