My parents recieved a really nice camera back when they built our house as a house warming present from my Grandparents. They wanted nothing to do with it for the last how many years so they gave it to me. I know its a really nice camera back in it's day and see recipets for over 1100 with the camera + lens.

basically i would like to know where a nice camera place is to see what they value it at and i would like to sell to buy a nice Digital Camera to get into taking really nice Photo's. I was thinking something like the Cannon 40D or something.

however i don't know where to go?

basically its a Pentax LX, with a SMC Pentax-A Lens 70-120mm F/4

I checked ebay and the only one's i found all say they are pretty rare and still going for good money? I don't have the FA-1 Viewfinder, but i would like to get a value on the camera + Lens.

Def Crivellos, I usually work with Jeff up there. I just sent someone up there for a 40D and they got it for something less than $1500 I believe with lens.

The XSi model may be worth waiting for, I believe it is due next month. Cheaper than the 40D but still really nice quality shots. I think they list out somewhere around $900.
