Battery-maker Rayovac, a division of Spectrum Brands Inc. (SPC), is increasing its employment in Fennimore, the company said this morning.
The new jobs, which will include both salaried and hourly positions, are expected to increase the number of employees at the Rayovac factory to about 250 from 200 currently by May 12.
Rayovac said it is expanding production at the Fennimore plant based on its ability to produce higher quality batteries compared with battery plants in China and other countries.

It slowly comes back. Companies are finding out our workers make a better product and quality is better controled. I wish other companies are considering this. Bring jobs back!
