Ok me and the gf are going to be going to get some new stuff for the apartment. Like lamps and stuff for the walls and things like that. Were going to the usual places like Target and Bed Bath & Beyond. Any other places I should look that are decently priced?

Marshall's and TJ Max

I was just at both of these places and Holly Hell they have some cool stuff, I like retro and modern shit.

Marshall's is on 27th and TJ Max is on 76th st.

If you're gonna get stuff for the apartment, try HOBO. You sometimes find things there that are good. Not just hardware stuff there. And stay away from places where you have to build the crap when you get home like so-called wood made from sawdust like Sauder makes. Spend the extra dough for good cabinetry and it will last a life time. Try Evans on HWY 100. they are quitting and have good deals. I bought a Amish made cabinet to display my model cars and I am happy I bought that instead of the Wal-mart sawdust crap. Try finding real paintings for the wall ( I get mine at rummage and starving artist sales) Cheesy prints of famous classic paintings suck goat ass. Nothing on my wall is a print unless it's high end stuff or racing related. Lamps and stuff like that actually isn't a bad thing bought used from a dealer if it's high end stuff that's been taken care of. No Home Interiors or Party Lites stuff either, that chinese made crap is very over priced.

cool thanks. Im not really looking for tables and stuff like that until we get into a different apartment. For now Im pretty just looking for stuff to put on the walls and lamps and maybe some cool things that we might find along the way.

If your down for a small drive. Hit up Ikea in IL, its just south of Guernee. Ive been to that one a few times and to the ones in san diego all the time when I lived there. They sell EVERYTHING you could need for a house/appartment and at a really good price. I buy ALOT of stuff there.

I ordered prints of paintings of my favorite airplanes for about $20 each, and built frames for them. I've got a shop light on a stand and the cam lamp I built from my stock motor parts. I just bought a leather recliner that matches my couch off of craigslist tonight. Lots of good deals on craigslist.

yeah I have all the furniture I need. Ive been living here since August. I have a bunch of beer signs covering the walls in my living room right now but Im going to turn the small bedroom into a poker/game room so Im taking all of the signs in there. Now I need stuff to put on the walls in the living room and the bedroom and stuff. It looks so plain with white walls.

I thought you preferred 8th graders? The flat as a board type.
