Sooo I need an 11mm wrench, and I don't really want to buy a whole set right now. How ridiculous is it that I don't even have a goddamn wrench set around here?

I was putting shiny new headlights on the car and ran out of room. The socket wrench just won't cut it. If anybody wants to swing by for twenty minutes or so while I finish up (four bolts) that'd be pretty sweet. Preferably tonight. Give me a call if ya wanna: (810) 338-0287. I'm right by Mequon and N. Port Washington.

I'd be glad to buy you lunch/dinner or just toss a few bucks your way for gas.

Otherwise I might just exercise the return policy at Aco (or Ace, whichever).

One could just go to the parts store and buy one wrench. Then you'd always have it for the next time you need it. Wouldn't this be cheaper than buying dinner for some one.

You can buy single wrenches? Hmmm...

Napa, Autozone, Sears, the Snap-on truck. Yes you can buy one wrench. I've always done that. Wound up with a pretty good set too. Tru-Value and Ace as well

What brand wrench costs $6.11 for an 11mm ?

Regular Aco type.

In other news: I got the headlights in, but not the corner markers. It just kept getting colder outside and it took way too long to get the headlights in, so I'll put the corners in and take pictures tomorrow after work or Tuesday. The headlights already look a million times better though.

are you sure you dont need a 7/16" wrench? 11mm is pretty odd

It fit perfectly.

I finished up the headlights. One of the corner bulbs was the wrong size though and wouldn't fit into the new lights. Kind of irritating. Also, the new headlight housings don't have a rubber surround on them like the OEMs do, and since the hood alignment isn't so great, they look kind of bare. :(
