Keyless entry question 04 Silverado

So my truck was not equipped with keyless entry from the factory. I was told all newer gm's were capable of keyless entry. So I bought a fob off of ebay. I can't get it to work. My truck goes into "program mode" but I did a little digging on the web and I think I may need to put in a reciever and a relay. Does anybody know for sure???

Haha, you need more then a key fob if your truck did not come equipt with keyless entry. You will need the receiver and the relay at the minimum. Your truck should already be wired for it though.
