COD4 new maps...

At long last, some new multiplayer maps will be made available soon for Call Of Duty 4. The first (rumoured) map named ‘Broadcast’ will be taken from the TV station level and will feature intense indoor close-quarter action.

The second (rumoured) map ‘Dusk’ appears to be from a little earlier in the level before you enter the TV station. It looks similar to one of the current maps already available.

The third (rumoured) map ‘Hill’ will be familiar from the single player campaign as you play it both stealthily at night and then again in a mad dash up and then back down the hill to the helicopter LZ for your extraction.

I really hope those are real. On the PS3 version right now they are having a map contest. You can download map tools and make, then submit your own maps.

Side note: If I had continued going prestige, (stopped, now doing it again) I should be at a level 10, 55. Anyways, you ever play against a group of people who are amazingly good? I am pretty good, not bragging, but I always get around 8-10 kills and 3-4 deaths in Search and Destroy, that's all I play. Last night I was playing, and it seemed like I couldn't do anything right. I will stay in a bunch of rounds when I am playing against really good players so I can learn. Well, I got my a$$ handed to me like 4 times in a row and one guy said, "this guy must be a noob." I got pissed of course, and proceeded to kill their whole team 3 games in a row haha. On "overgrown" their whole team camped out in the house by A. I threw 3 grenades, 2 upstairs, 1 down, and killed their whole team in about 30 seconds. :devil

my SSU group I play with is usually about 15-1 for win-loss ratio. So not amazingly good, but enough that it's a good time.

I don't have a time frame, i just have that "friend of a friend" that's a game developer. A group of my SSU buddies and I have played with the IW developers a couple times now.

Supposedly the 4th map was supposed to be the "outside developed" map for the contest. Don't know how much reality will be in that though.

i just like to sit back and **** around in the game now. I just want my head shots for the gold AK. so trying to run and gun w/ a G3 just doesn't work, haha. Too many newbs w/ the juggysensation

chris do you need to get all of the headshots in each category to get the gold weapon? is it only the ak?

yes, you need to hit every assault weapon w/ 1000 kills and 150 headshots in order to get the golden AK. and you ONLY get the AK, not any other assault weapon.

you'd get the golden mini uzi i think

golden one shot shotgun, not the auto shotty i dont think.

again, that's ONLY if you get headshots on EVERY weapon in that group.

Has anyone seen the golden ak, it looks brown. And yes it is the faster shotgun chris :)

well that sounds sweet then!

the golden AK is weird because the "colored" parts are kinda goldish, but it still has the same brown/wood paneling as if it was a real AK. it looks ghey as hell, and would have been better suited as a golden G36, but oh well.
