Nope, but good luck with that. You could try talking to your insurance company, but it might be best to just get an alignment and call it a day.

I would just get an alignment. I'm sure there is someone on here that can get you in and maybe give you a break.

haha, i don't think there is a single thread on BCM that doesn't have something like that in it.

Personally dude, i think your up shit creek. If the car was AWD and they towed it then yeah you woulda had something but i doubt they will give 2 shits.

Yeah, and my Taurus is fast.

lol zzzzzzzzing!

Alignment at FleetFarm is like $40, there's your deal... shìt that was even for my AWD Talon, so it's probably cheaper for you.

You're ****ed. You think you can prove that they ****ed up your alignment? For something that trivial... you're just... ****ed.

That tie rod looks more like you hit a pot hole than the towing guys fault. That thing took a hard hit when the car was in a forward motion.

umm you can see the tow strap marks on the rod right where it begins to bend also. good luck with it but you are screwed.

Flight_740

Then why is the bend going to the rear of the car?? It just makes no sense. I would buy that story if it was bent in the oppisite direction.

its just the angle of the picture it goes down

they looked at it admitted there tow truck driver had done it. they temp fixed it and orderd a new tierod. i just have to pay for the front end alignment they will cover the tierod install and the cost of the tierod. i thought that was fair

No doubt the towing company did it. Id ***** and complain but the odds are it wont do any good. Ive learned that if you have your lawyer call them though, that usually motivates people. lol

Thats a stand up thing to do. Could it be possible that was the owner you spoke with? Thats a guy that cares about his business and there reputation, hats off to that towing company. Atleast someone is getting good customer service around here! :thumbsup

My experience with tow truck companies has been less than stellar. But oh well.

Glad you got everything squared away without having to bring in the legal eagles.
