ADDED pics!

so today on my way home from work i hit a plastic tub on the freeway going 75mph+ filled with clothes. one of these big ones. Pastic and clothes went everywhere all over the freeway... it was actually really funny because everyone behind me locked up their brakes and clothes and plastic were everywhere... it was like a gernade blewup on the front of my car.... didnt think too much of it right after it happened because i was still able to boost and no coolant seemed to be steaming out... so i got off the freeway and went home only to have my car blow its stack in my driveway!!! i wiped out my intercooler, radiator, and bumper. shitttyy oh well i am taking the turbo kit off, returing it to stock and picking up a new vehical this weekend!


it was kinda my fault i was tailgating a car in the right lane, decided to pass him so i dropped her down a gear builded some boost and just as i went around him this tote was in the next lane!

i am getting a truck.... fvck this little car BS, i dont need to replace another friggin part on this car! i've had it for 1 year and have replaced so far.... (1) complete engine, (1) transmission, front brakes, battery, (1) radiator already, (2) tires, starter, control arm bushings, stablizer bushings, coolant temp sensor, catalyic convertor, (4) spark plugs, (4) plug wires and a o2 sensor.... all this was done befor i put the turbo on it... i put the turbo on it and nothing broke nothing failed for 4months untill i hit this friggin thing! BABAABHABAKKkgrfggfb


i do really want another 4 door saturn... but a 5speed fo sho, i am getting sick of this auto junk... but it is fun to build boost and let it rip!

thats awesome. i didnt know that you turbo'd the DD. If only saturn made a pickup. io know youd be all over that.

that video is fuggin bullshit! dmv should worry about making sure that shit doesnt happen instead of whether or not my car passes emissions.

jake, what were you driving when you nailed it? chances are it would **** up a truck too. If it were my silverado, it probably would take out a foglight or both, and probably rip my lower valance off

a truck would have eattin that box up no problem... my front end is very delicate due to the fact of the FMIC. the box hit just under my bumper support (the actual metal behind the plastic bumper) so eitherway intercooler or not i would have been screwed. i would rather replace a fog light instead of an intercooler and the 2nd radiator for this car!

oh yeah, id take a $85 OEM foglight setup over $200+ for a radiator, plus your case whatever your front mount cost, but you'd be surprised at how UNdurable new truck bumpers are nowadays. I tagged a chevy venture on the freeway doin about 10-15mph in december of 06 with the front of my truck. I had $1,100 in damage, chevy venture didn't even have a SCRATCH!

yea the radiator was only $85 and the FMIC was free from Mr.Beagz! so i didnt loose to much... but i was just pissed because i had to pull my turbo off to get the radiator out. so now i dont have boost any more :(

if i had a nouther daily driver i'de sell ya my 4 door but it gets me the best gas milage ever so i think i'll have to keep it till i find better
