Can anyone recommend a shop for a friend? He has a 3000GT that lost 5th & R and is looking for a reliable shop.

It sounds like an SL (non-turbo FWD). What year?

If it is an SL, I have some parts currently. (They are very similar to a 1G FWD transmission minus the bellhousing). I would likely be able to help you out.

If it is a VR4, I can take a look at it, but cannot promise you anything. I have never worked on the 6-speed Getrags.

I have a talon that I just put another tranny into
