For those that don't know, I work for Jc Penney customer service. In the furniture call center. I am basically just a customer service rep, I take calls and take complaints, and schedule deliveries.
So yesterday I got offered to move to a new dept. and take charge of something new they are trying. I will be in our Repair Dept. here, what they do is work with our technitions that goto the customers home and fix their furniture and/or inspect for defects and customer abuse. I was asked to move over there to do follow ups with customers after the 5 business days we allow our techs to call the customer and make arrangements for repairs. Basically I will be calling the customer to make sure they got an appointment made, if not, I call the tech and tell them to call them. The job consists of a little more work freedom, and a higher pay also. I start on monday, I might actually enjoy coming to work now. :thumbsup
