I need to change the oil on my truck and I want to swap it out to synthetic. Amsoil and Mobil are the only two that offer a CJ-4 Low Ash Compliant oil from what I can see.

Does anyone know of a place that stocks either Mobil Delvac 1 ESP or Amsoil DEO Synthetic Premium Diesel?

Kilpatricks, Amsoil Synthetic Diesel That's where I get it from. I get all my filters and stuff from them too.

Do they keep this stuff in stock? Are they open weekends? Do they stock just the synthetic Diesel or the premium Diesel that carries the CJ-4 rating required for 07 up emissions compliant diesels?

I just talked to shane at Kilpatriks, he said that he doesn't have the Low sulfur oil in stock, but he would be happy to get it for you. He said to give them a call tomorrow and he would check the price and give you a deal. 262.549.1968

I guess all they stock is the 15-40 premium synthetic for diesel.

They aren't open on weekends, but I could pick it up for you if you can't make it out there. Then you could just stop by when ever.

I put a deep trans pan on my truck when we did the fluid. Then you get the deep filter, and an extra gallon or so of fluid. Temps went down 20*. Doesn't seem like much until you think of it going down from 200 to 180 while towing a skid loader.

Where do you get your Allison spin-on filters, oil filters, and fuel filters?

J/W... I'll probably run up to Truck Country and see what they want for them. Dealer prices are whack I heard.

Thanks to Brad at west bend dyno I was put in touch with a guy who sells Amsoil at damn near wholesale. Picked up 3 gallons and a filter today from him for FREE!!!

Well not really, he is billing me for it. $20 a gallon and $13 for the filter.
