Burnout: Paradise

Anyone playing the full game?
It is soooo much better than the demo.

Just being able to listen to music while driving makes it much more fun.
Sucks that you can't listen to imported mp3's (yet?), but they do have a decent variety of songs (Alice in Chains / Senses Fail / JunkieXL / Avril / Jane's Addiciton / NERD / Depeche Mode / Seether / Soundgarden / all music from Burnout 1,2,3, +tons more, etc.)

It keeps stats for almost everything, and then if you're online it rubs it in your face about how much better (or worse) the other people you're racing against are.
Jillions of challenges/unlocks, wheee.

I only played for a hour or so last night, can't wait to get some new cars!

I played the demo and it seemed like an awesome game. On the full version how easy is it? I mean in the hour that you said you played it how much did you get done? I'd rather not spend the $60 if its going to be a cake game.

Well of the 400 shortcuts, i've only found 26, most of them from knowing where they were in the demo.
There are tons of awards to unlock, I only got 4 so far.
The online challenges, over 100... I did 5.

What I got done was the easy, teach you how to play the game type of stuff... "power park a car / get 7 near misses in a row / get over 2,000 in oncoming" etc.

I still have the crappy Hunter Cavalry... only 74 more cars to unlock :D

I want to get the eye toy so I can put a pic on my license, not necessarily of me :devil

But I don't think you're gonna finish all the challenges in a month.
Even if/when you do finally complete everything, just being able to smash the hell out of other people/friends online is great replay value... same as CoD4 :)

That game rules. I hardly listen to in-game music anyway. I just stream it from my 360 to my computer anyway.

It just sounds like they just give you a $100 credit back on your Sony Card, after you buy the PS3 with the card.

I've seen some ****ed up people.

They seem to get mad when you take them out with the Hunter Cavalry.
