I'm surprised that I'm not getting harassed about it too, trying to stay under the 'radar' :stare.....

that's pretty impressive for those motors... surprised i didn't see any all-motor numbers for them while browsing around youtube... figured, more people would be doing those...
and by the way, is that 3.2 a stroker/big-bore on the 3.0 motor, or just a 3.2 swap? kinda interested...

The 3.0's and the 3.2's are almost identical besides the bore so it's easier just to get a 3.2 and drop it in. The SHO motors aren't anything to write home about stock but boosted they come alive big time.....

sho motors are very similar to the Nissan VQs in that they're so strung out from the factory, bolts ons really don't do much, but when they're boosted, yes, they become animals, i still miss my SHO, i just had way too many problems with it

True, but most people will still say "it's just a Taurus". Depends on how you look at it I guess.....

I wish insurance considered it just a Taurus. Although an 18 year old car isn't that expensive to insure either, but would be nice.

Up until a year ago I had American Family for 9 years and they considered it just a Taurus. Then About 5 or so years ago they re-identified makes/models and the SHO model was then put in a semi-performance section. However, the difference in price for me was minimal......
We're now with Allstate and they recognize the SHO model vs. just a plain Taurus, but it's still very reasonable to insure.....
