that's flying....

but didn't Wolfe go quicker? Dan Wolfe going 7.49 on radials, or is what the title posted on that video just meant mph since Dan just went like 19x

It is David Wolfe, and he went a 40 something at a very high 190.

Shannon Wren went 7.41 during qualifing at memphis then backed it up with the 7.53. Either way though that thing is flying. Richie Stine going 7.57 with a nitrous big block on radials was cool too.

"Best time to date has been 7.40 at 197 mph. That was accomplished at the World Ford Challenge while David was racing in the Drag Radial category. Race weight was 3,295 pounds, and the car was rolling on a pair of M/T 325/50-15 drag radial tires."

"that was on the "small" Mickey Thompson drag radial tires with a single turbo. Soon he'll use the "big" drag radials and a set of twin turbos."

If you guys have a chance to see this class race, it is absolutely amazing!

Got ya Andy...

Dan @ Wolfe just posts on the LS1tech website all the time so that's where i got the name confused.

I remember reading a topic about the drag radials and Dan was mentioning that they actually went slower on the big 315's. i'll have to find it
