Reminds me of the time my father was up near Merrill, WI and spotted what looked to be a `87 Grand National with police stickers/lights on it. He followed it back to the police station and actually talked to the cop driving it. Sure enough it was a real `87 GN that was seized in a drug bust years ago that was turned into a fully functional cop car. The cop said that they only take it out on nice days and that it has super low mileage because of it.....

If I was to get pulled over in that it would make getting a ticket a little easier.....:goof

They do that in South Carolina too. Here in Beaufort, there is a Civic with a fart can, wing and a bunch of stickers, a few Mustangs, even a Dodge Ram on big wheels with a cowl hood. Up in Charelston, there's a LT-1 with spray they confinscated a few years ago. It's the DARE car now I believe.

In pheonix AZ they did that too, and they would try to get you to run them, race you for a second, let off and pull behind you, busted, one more car for the fleet....

there are a shit ton of Undercover cars runnin around chicago. there is a cam' Green SN95 stang that i saw in the NW Burbs guy burped the throttle at my buddy in a SRT4 and he was on the phone with his g/f so he didn't go mustang drove off 2 minutes later saw him pull over a civic.

we have confiscated quite a few in dodge county, mainly from drug busts. the big boss drives a 02 Harley Davidson F150 and we have a Navigator and Excursion they had 22" and 24" respectively but were removed for something a little tamer :)
