They showed the guy on TV about 15 minutes ago. The guy responsible and another guy who could have stopped it were both fired.

Exactly, this could happen anywhere seeing is how it was a single employee and not the restaurant itself.....

Like the story from a former friend's step-father about when he used to work at Dunkin' Donuts years ago. He said that along with his friend he would get drunk and then urinate in the batter instead of going to the bathroom, and it happened more than once. Bottom line is this kind of stuff HAPPENS ALL THE TIME, but usually doesn't get noticed. When I worked at a restaurant I saw a few things that made me cringe. They weren't nearly as bad as the pubic hair incident but bad enough to where someone would have a problem with it should they have known.....

If you don't want your food to be screwed with BUY IT AND COOK IT YOURSELF...!!! There's a very old saying that still holds true to this day ===> what you don't know wont hurt you, unless you get REALLY sick that is. Has anybody watched the movie Waiting...??? It's seriously not that far from reality, if not dead on.....

In all reality, I wouldn't stop going there because of this. It wasn't the restaurants fault, but the act of a dumbass chef. Me and the kids left Saturday evening very satisfied with the meal and the service. Cool that they do some 2 steppin at times too. lol

He was pissed that the customer returned a steak that was overcooked. Hate to see what he would do if something really pissed him off.

BULLSH!T, hate to burst your bubble. Having been in restaurants for over 20 years I have yet to see a dumbass do half the shit they showed those cooks doing. phucking around, partying, cooking something really well done yeah but to deliberately put hair in food is bullshit. More often than not, I find CUSTOMERS doing sh!t to their food just to get a bill comped or more free food. Kinda hard for a cook to get a long hair in food when they are all shaved!?!?! The most accurate part of that movie was the partying and phucking that goes on in almost all restaurants.

OK, the movie may have exagerrated the extent of things a little but I saw first hand my share of incidents that would have most people irrate. One thing I'm sure of is that this guy was 'unlucky' and got caught while MANY others get away with similar sh!t.....

I will agree with you on the customers trying to get something for free by making things up, or I'm sure you've had customers claim they got sick form the food etc.....

Yoo,

I agree that the customers do the most damage to a restaurant's integrity. The Wendy's chili-finger incident is a good example. It sunk their stock over the next few days after that incident and Northern California stores saw a huge drop in business for a week or so.

That's strange, I checked it out around 9 pm last night and in my opinion it was FAR less busy than normal. :confused
If I had to guess I would say that 40% of the parking lot was full compared to 90% normally.
