I have a set of 4 285/75/16 (33x11 or so) Goodyear MTRs on 16x8 American Racing 589 wheels with 4.5" backspacing.
Bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5 which is newer Jeeps, some Fords, etc.
Wheels have lots of rock rash and tires are siped and have about 35k miles on them, mostly offroad.
I am asking $250, which is a steal for some decent offroad tires that will last at least a year.

will these fit on a jeep at stock ride height?

Negative.
A TJ would need 2" of lift, and an XJ or ZJ would need 4" minimum.
Tires were $260 each new, but that was years ago.

damnit, why cant they be 265's? my girls liberty is screaming for some new offroad shoes but even with a rocky road lift, the 285s are too big

I am the one Nick posted up for, on the tires/wheels. Please post or send me some tread depths and show how much rash these have.
I membered up on this site to follow up on these myself.

id suggest better pics of the rims, and maybe a coin in the tread to show wear

Just my opinion
