Hey, everyone.....I will soon be looking for a VERY good, reputable bodyshop to do some work on my car, and I would love to hear of all your most highly-recommended shops. The work I want to have done is the complete removal of a vinyl top, repair to any parts underneath that need repairing, and repainting of top to match body......Just for the record, I already know this is going to be a VERY expensive process.....Thanks, all.

I would highly recommend MD Classic Automotive Restoration in Port Washington. Mike has been working on his personal cars since he was in high school and has been in the restoration business for over ten years. He is also one of the best color matchers and paint blenders I have ever seen, which is right up your alley since you do not want the whole car repainted. He's got some of his project pictures on his site http://www.mdcarinc.com/ His only drawback is sometimes he has a waiting list because it is just him and two employees.

I got tons of pics of the wonderful job that Nagel Auto Body has done on both my car and my dad's. They do awsome, flawless work.
