Nice, Looks an awful lot like mine!!!

Good luck on the larger tires. Even with cranking the T-Bars, aftermarket control arms and trimming your going to have a hard time fitting even 285's on that thing without rubbing. The way they designed the front wheel wells on the new trucks just plane suck. After having a half ton with the higher output 6.0 in it though, i dont think I would want the lower output engine or even the engine my truck had in a 3/4 ton, that exta weight is gonna be killer. Let me know what you think of the get up and go factor.

Not trying to hijack, but here are some pics I took of mine today, where are you getting the line x done and what are they charging you?

Yeah, im to cheap for that... I cant justify it. Ive used Hurculiner on my past 3 trucks, I will probably go that route again on this one.

Love the gas engine and regular cab !
That thing is gonna slay some snow, get some better tires, or spin then stock ones off plowing. :D

Looks like a pretty color and nice trim level too. :thumbsup

yes the truck spins the tires over at 40 now with the great rubber on there... Will probably need new tires soon.

cloth buckets, cd player, air, cruise, keyless entry, carpeted floor, chrome wheels need an upgrade. 6.0, 6L80E, floor 4x4

I love the look of the new Chevy/GMC trucks. Just the lack in tire size kinda is a down fall. Either way, nice looking truck.

Heiser, Kyle ( A B4C Z) got me hooked up. Alone with all the rebates, my GM Card, some $1000 rebate we got today if we put a plow on it.

Works out to have a nice new truck, nice new V-plow, plus i can see out the back now when im backing up.

The truck rips, I'm very impressed with it. I believe in a bass boat mag, they did a test between the same trucks, 6.0 vs LMM and the LMM was only faster while towing. My truck has 4.10's couldn't be happier with the performance.

Over on Dieselplace.com There's a guy running 285/70-17's on hummer H2 wheels with some cranking on the T-bars. He said they didn't rubbing once he tossed some green keys in.

Ive read the thread and yes it works but barely, when you crank the bars that far, or add re-indexed keys it REALLY f's up your ball join angles and over extends your shocks. I am not worried about the cv angles as they look fine.

I am ordering the leveling kit from Cognito that comes with new upper control arms that relocate the bumpstops and correct the ball joint angles and longer shocks. Then im just going to crank my factory keys as re-indexed ones are not nessesary. I will most likely run 285's or 305's on it with H2's

There is also a guy running 35's on there with nothing more then a leveling kit but he cut the pinch weld at the back of the fenders and "modified it with a hammer"

As far as off the line power, id say you are correct, my crew cab vmax 4x4 had 4.10's and the 6.0 and was quicker unloaded.

Right now its just a plow truck and shop truck. So as I fund my other projects This one will be third on the list to get shit done to it. Keep me posted on what you discover about the larger tires.

I'd love some H2's with some 285/70-17's
