rigids are for the south where the roads are nice and smooth, because your spine is the rear shock. with the roads up here you'd spend more time in the air then on the ground.

The people setting up that bike at a trade show 2 years in ago in Vegas actually dropped it while putting it on the rotating base in the CAT booth. The bent up the tins somewhat.

At least it's unique, unlike most of their garbage.

most of the OCC theme bikes suck! The bike they built for Miller welders, SUCKED, it had a tow behind welder. The bike they built for Pevey had a guitar holder and a small amp...whoopadeedoo!
This Cat bike is the best theme bike they've ever built. Look at the thing, it looks like a Cat product!

On a side note...the show misses Vinny

They're aren't supposed to be practical. They are theme bikes, that aren't even legal for road usage. They are just marketing tools. You may think they suck but the trade shows I've been to that have had those kind of bikes there, The CAT bike, the Dixie Chopper bike, Snapon Bike, etc always draw crowds and booth activity which is what they are there for. For what they are being asked to do, I'm usually pretty impressed with how they turn out. I doubt I could work in a company's product as well as they do.

It's better then just making a standard bike, and then painting the companies logo on the tank and fender. Anybody could do that.

you're right, I totally forgot about the Snap-on bike and the Dixie Chopper bike. I saw both of them in person, very cool.
