My friend said if he was ever going to rob a bank he would do it in a blizzard and steal someones snowmobile and rob a bank and hop on the sled. Sounds like a good idea haha.

Yes, yes it is.

Listen to you young pups! When I was a kid, these are the kinds of winters we had all the time. We got spoiled with these mild winters of late. When I moved back here from California, Christmas day was 60 degrees in 1982. I just thought Wisconsin was all a bad dream and I was back in Santa Barbara.

I say bring it on now. I mean might as well go for the record then at this point.

Then when we have the record snowfall total we can have it printed on a big poster of nice parchment paper, roll it up into a big tube. Then shove it straight up Al Gore's ass.

Prince Valiant

That's the funny thing....there are two reasons why this doesn't convince the global warming alarmist:

1) Their contention is that the changes in the atmosphere is causing "more extreme weather events", to which harsher/wetter/colder winters could be justified with.

2) The claim that the earth would NORMALLY be moving into an ice age at this point...and thus THIS winter wouldn't be as bad as it should have been. BUT, when this supposed brief period passes, Global warming will hit with a vengance.

Sadly, global warming alarmism will be around for some time :(

What gets me is this, the top 10 snow totals for Milwaukee, not including this year
1 109.8 1885-86
2 94.2 1897-98
3 93.3 1959-60
4 83.2 1973-74
5 82.9 1978-79
6 82.6 1903-04
7 81.9 1993-94
8 80.8 1922-23
9 80.7 1977-78
10 79.7 1951-52

Now look at the dates? They are all over the place, with 6 of them being well after cars were around and during a time of alot of mfg without any care whatsoever as to pollutants. The models and data these doomsayers use don't make sense. It's the same modeling programs they use to predict weather, that they can't even get right 4 hours before it happens.

the really bad sh*t is supposed to hit near madison, they are expecting 12+ inches, milwaukee is supposed to get around 3-6 inches, but they are saying the bigger danger is the freezing rain, that is what is causing the "severe weather advisory." the snow in the city area isn't supposed to be real bad, but we'll have ice rinks for roads. i hate winter with such a passion i cannot even begin to express it. i cannot wait til it's 90 degrees. bring on the global warming.

my Bridgestone Potenza G009's are brand new practically.
I got them this summer. I actually just had to replace the front passenger side 3 days ago. hit a pot hole and punctured the tire.

Milwaukee: no snow so far. Just a little slush.

All of you who whine about driving in this stuff either need snow tires or awd/4wd. I've had no problems with my wagon all winter long and that is on summer tires.

Snow is okay, but I don't like it when it drops below 20 above. The lowest my dash has read so far this winter is -9.

So last night I'm going 45 mph in the middle on 94 west towards Delafield and the back of my truck started to slide out to the left so i was going sideways down the highway. I thought I was going to hit the center wall until i did a 360 and went across 3 lanes of traffic and ended up in the on ramp facing the ditch which I thought I was going to be in too. Luckey no one was next to me or they would have been taken out. The guy behind me must have been like holy chit. The weird thing was I was going straight. The truck just decided to start sliding left. I probably slide about 50+ feet sideways before i spun around and went across the 3 lanes. My friend saw a hummer in front of him go out of control hit the median and flip over it into oncomming traffic landing on its roof.

I left the Brookfield area at 7 a.m. this morning to head back to Whitewater. Roads were fine all the way (and that is fine in my terms, which actually means very, very good). Country roads were even fine closer to Whitewater, minus the guy in his little Geo Prism that decides to go 35 in a 55 because he can't quite align his car with the clear road and instead drives in the middle on all of the snow.

I can't believe all the pot holes. They are ridiculous. I'm surprised more people don't get in accidents from simply trying to avoid them.
