With it being Wisconsin's turn in primary land I made the 25 minute trip into Racine to check out Barack Obama. Froze my ass off but got some very good seating.

This is not a political forum so I will just leave this at discussing photos :)

All the photos can bee seen here; http://gallery.webtrendsguy.com/v/barack02132008

Nice pics. I watched the speech. Not impressed. First time I have seen him be short with an audience.

He came to the Kohl center yesterday, one block from my apartment, I saw all the people crowd the sidewalks, didn't want to freeze my ass off waiting in line so I didn't go (plus I'm not his biggets fan, I didn't want to be surrounded by 18,000 Obama fans yelling).

However Bill Clinton is going to be here tomorrow and it's right after I get out of class so I'll probably attend that one.

Don't think that didn't cross my mind :devil

In all fairness the guy did have a tough time of getting up and moving around.

Anyone have any info on Bill Clintons visit? I'd like to see him speak for sure. I can't find anything on it, everything just says "to be announced"

You talkin about??????

I just cannot bring it upon myself to believe a word that man says. I trully feel he is manipulating the entire country, just telling everyone what they want to hear, just to get into office. We did elect Bush after all, everyone seems to forget that. I dont mean to bring negativity, I am just annoyed by it.

It's at 2:30 pm tomorrow here in Madison. The address is 1675 Linden dr.

Time says from 2:30 - 5:00 pm.

My class ends at 2:10 and it's about a 15 minute walk so I'm going to get there right before it starts, hopefully I get in, don't care about how good of a seat it is.

What makes you feel this way? I'm not a Obama fan myself and I doubt I'll vote for him, but I hate how people will go so far to say that if so and so gets elected, we are all going to die or live terrible, terrible lives.

That is this Saturday night at 6, it is a fund raiser so a minimum $100 to get in the door.

As the thread was created for the "showing" of the pictures. All i will say is "nice photos". I have nothing else remotely nice to say about the rediculous stooge in them.

That's what I think about anyone trying to get into a position of power, that's why I really don't care who gets elected either way, nothing is going to change, blah blah this! blah blah that!, really? meh.

All I ever hear them talking about is health care, or schooling, or taxes. Two I don't give a shit about, the other hasn't happened.

If there was some radical change with all these promises made over the last two decades, I sure as hell missed it.

Refusing to properly participate in the national anthem or wear an american flag lapel pin says it all for me!

http://newsbusters.org/static/2007/10/2007-10-01Time-Obama3.jpg

During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. -- United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171

I guess he's to good for us? And FVCK Hillary too!

I was shocked when I heard it, but not a little less upset knowing he will be here in Green Bay on Friday.

All that proves is he is good at coming up with stupid excuses. I believe the vid more than the article which was written by a supporter. I have no doubt his grand pappy taught him to do it that way but it is still fvcking wrong! Osama...I mean Obama please refer back to United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171 and disregard what you were taught improperly. Time to sack up and be an american :thumbsup

I also hate it when pro athletes dance around instead of holding still during the anthem. Chomping on gum and what not.

anyone who doesn't vote for obama just because his name is similar to osama should not be voting in the first place

I saw Bill Clinton today in Madison, had a really crappy view but still was worth it to see an ex-President without having to wait in line.

I have heard very little from him aside from plattitudes. I mean, there is NO denying he's telegenic, articulate, bright (hey, and as Joe Biden [D-vermont] tells it, "clean", lol)...but aside from some details in his health-plan, little of anything substantive has come out.

And while this is actually true for many politicians, the dearth of substance in his rhetoric is especially low.

A huge panel of people who plan on voting for Obama were asked to name just 1 thing that he has accomplished in his career. 1 person was able to name something, and that was that he won a Senate seat. However - Obama did not actually win his seat, he won on default, no-one was running against him.

incorrect on technicality...he ran against alan keyes...one of my favorite conservatives. But sadly, no politician. He was routed.

ok. for a period of time there was nobody running against him. in fact, most of the time. keyes didn't decide to run until almost the very end. and he was beaten very badly. keyes didn't even live in the state when he decided he wanted to run. The state couldn't get anyone to run.

The state GOP offered Keyes its nomination last week after a string of potential Republican candidates, including former Chicago Bears coach and player Mike Ditka, turned down entreaties to run. www.cnn.com

don't you realise that means he is fresh and free of the political machine and influences...he'll do whatever u ask him to man....just for change man.. :durr

or it'll be the worst mockery of an american president in modern time....

I generally vote conservative.... but I will be voting in the democrat primary for hillbillary clinton just to keep a racist out of the presidency
