I need to find a place to do a rebuild on a 4l60e. I would prefer to find a guy that does it on the side since I do not have a bunch of extra money to put into this. Anybody on here know somebody?

On your Lumina?

Get a cheap pull out from Ed Morad

GTPED@msn.com or if I remember correctly. I know Steve and Jeff would know. He can get you a good working pull out for next to nothing. Otherwise if you wanted a performance rebuild locally, I'd consider Auto Trans Design locally, and I hear Tom is soon to be delving into the 4T60/4T65s

Anybody on here know somebody? Is the trans out of the car? whats it doing or not doing? or is it the typical 3-4 clutches --I've done quite a few--They are one of the shittiest trannys to rebuild pm me with details to the symptoms ect. Are you sure its a 4l60e and not a 4l65 or a 4l80?

Wanna try your luck on the trans for this thing?

http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/car/537963717.html

Was for sale on the forum last month, friend of mine bought it.

Could be some extra $$$ in your pocket and you get your chance to play with the transmission

Slips really bad on the 1-2 and the 2-3 shift. Wants the front and rear gears swapped to 4.56 as well.

With supplied parts you interested?
