Just leave it stock, nobody will race it anyways since they won't believe that it is stock. Then you can just say you wanted to race but everyone is afraid of a little stock 327 sbc with a Holley carb on it. And yes I am sure people will be skeeeeerrrrd of the car since it has a Clocks Off sticker on it.

i thought i was fair to people last year, hell we ran a fbody on drag radials with a pickup trup with a tune in it,heads up...nothin like toting around an extra couple thousand lbs and still cant get a "fair" race lol

all in all, this is truely goin to be a street car,92 octane with a/c.its big and heavy and it is keeping a small block. the goal is to have something with good street manners. I doubt it will be much faster than mid 13s on the tuneup. there are plenty of cars we can bring out to race, this will not be one of them.

That coupled with the fact it would have been a FREE race, and a truck that isnt under warranty anymore it is not worth the risk....a trans or t-case isnt a cheap date in those things. That truck has been retired of its beatings.

the carb on my site is a generic pic of some of the stuff they do.
the boosterless carb is called an aerosal. it makes a super clean throttle response and great driving manners.
some would call it a race carb.

Call or go to www.musclecarbrakes.com.There in Texas.Talk to John. He can get you to stop with drum brakes just as you would have with calipers. There the only company that makes special ceramic shoes for those big cars.
