anyone know where to get a ford tranny rebuilt out of a straight6 f-150 mazda tranny.:confused

b&m wants 1200 i figured a reduild prolly be cheaper cuz it pops out of 1st.

ight anyone have anyidea on what it is the ****en thing wont stay in first it goes in but then pops back out.Also wont go into 2nd but every other gear its perfect.

Very soon you won't have 2nd... Oh wait, second is already gone :rolf Don't worry, the rest of them are on their way...

Similar problem happened with my old Ranger...

the mazda tranny shift arms have a thin piece of metal that wears out... mine did what yours is doin right before it lost 1st and second....my gears weren't bad it was the shift linkage that had worn completely through... EXTREMELY common to that fyi mine was a 96 f150 300 six 4x4 :thumbsup ... my tranny guy got it done with a new clutch and slave cylinder for $800

call kenny...he is the TRANNY MAN around town....he built my last tranny and he just did the trans for the Chevelle were doing...DA MAN KNOWS HIS CHIT....
