This winter has sucked. We haven't even really gotten a break. Usually we get a week or two of a tease to atleast give us some hope of spring. But this seems like it's been one storm after the next. I usually go thru 1 2 gallon can of gas for my snowblower. This year I'm almost thru 3 cans. Ridiculous.

I just like to get my car clean again.

I have a 97 explorer and a Jeep GC I am going to check out tomorrow. I want to try and get as close to an even up trade as I can.

I should just sell the car outright and get more for it, but I just don't have the time.

That thing would go through snow like a tank if you had snow tires on it, and I'm talking about Blizzaks or similar. I know you'd like to still get something bigger but no car is 'too light' for driving in the snow.....

All of you that are sick of this MOVE!!!! Every 90* day in the summer I am going to post how I can't stand it and wished it was 20 out.

I would if I could, but unfortunately I'm stuck here until I make my millions.....

The summer can be rough with high temps but if I had to choose between the two seasons it wouldn't be winter.....

Prince Valiant

could be a bust? IE we don't get the snow they say we will get?
like it fizzles and we only get a dusting/2 " tops....

Because this is one of those "two-three things have to happen" type storms to give us the conditions it needs (IE warm humid air out of the south, against cold frigid, but humid air from the north, with NE winds coming across the lake is how I heard it described). If one thing isn't quite was predicted, who knows what happens?

how many times have we prepared for the "big one" only to be disappointed? Predicting the weather is still far from 100%....

I got done with work at 3am and played in the snow for a bit. The caddy is AWESOME in the snow. All the way home for Hartford to Jackson I drove in the middle of the road cuz nothing was plowed it was fun! Very windy though. Can't wait to see the roads tonight when I have to go to work at 6pm! Yeppie!!

That's alright. I ended up staying at work until this morning (yay 32.5 hour shift!) since nobody could get to the house. People kept trying, but they got stuck in the snow every time.

It's better that it is a house though. I can't imagine being stuck in an office for that long or a warehouse. The residents and I baked cookies, had a slumber-party movie night, did some house-cleaning, and made the best of it since they couldn't go anywhere either.
