for those of you with a garage, and a heater in the garage, other than a nice one that hangs on the ceiling. i'm looking for where to find one of those nice torpedo heaters that run on propane or LP... i've been looking online at home depot to no avail and menards has no online shopping... any ideas?

I bought a propane one... 5 years ago from Fleet Farm, and it was awesome... Sometimes... I have a convection style kerosene one now...

Personally I like the kerosene torpedos... I had problems with my Propane one...

Propane Convection heaters are great and require no electricity. Without the need for electricity they come in handy if your power goes out in your home. You can buy them at Depot or Menards for around $100.00. They normally stock Max 100 and 200 K BTU models. I have the 200 K model and use it to warm the garage up quick and then let the other furnace take over. The best part they don’t smell or burn your eyes like kerosene. Below is the type that I am talking about.
