Anyone have a ballpark for a value of a nice, older restoration of a matching numbers 1967 Firebird Convertible, 326 H.O., 4 speed. I realize price varies wildly on condition but a ballpark would be helpful if any of you guys are in the loop on Pontiac values...

Best way to find out is to watch prices for similar cars on eBay. JMO.
If i were to guess, I'd say high teens.

Jim for comparison...this is a 400 V8 car but still a decent restored convertible car regardless

so I'd say 20's......depending on final condition. For sure the Firebirds don't pull as much as the Camaros do for the 1st Gens.

Yep I was gonna troll Ebay tonight as well. A buddy at work is looking at one, the guy is asking like $25K which seemed a tad high to me, depending on condition. The description included comments like "older restoration" and "somewhat worn original interior" so I am thinking that it probably a decent, solid car but definitely not a show car or anything I would call "restored".

For whatever reason 1st gen Firebirds seem to get like 60-70% value of a comparable Camaro of the same year. Only exception is like the 69 TA's.

yep...so this 400 V8 auto car that I posted for ya is a good judge I'd say. $25K would seem high for what else is out there.

Here's a list of 67 firebirds from hemmings:

My guess if it's in really good shape would be that mid/low 20,000's would be a good starting point, with expectations of recieving bids in the upper teens at worst.
