Well if it has mods like an intake and exhaust id say it would for sure need one.

However when they are bone stock they are pretty close but can pick up a little bit in the fun to drive dept, from more mid range nuts and altered shift points and firmness.

I dont have unlimited tuning for 03's so its $100 for the credits to be able to get into the computer on it, and $100 for my labor. At best i might be able to push 1-2 mpg better avg out of it...

So its your call if its worth it to you. Honestly id wait till you possibly have some more stuff done to it.

Probably don't have time to do it before my trip on sunday, but I was considering this again. All I have is a drop in k&n air filter, but 2 mpg would be worth it especially towing.

What year is the truck? I have unlimited for 04's... If its any othe year i gotta order credits and thats a bill for those alone plus my labor...
