New Truck, 03 Sierra

Sick of having to fix my junk, this one won't need to be fixed for awhile besides little stuff like de-beanerization ( removing taped on chrome shit ) and adding window tint.

So far, I love it.

Nice score, I really like that style of truck with a 6 Litre gas engine.
I like that grille better than the newer "slant eye" grille as well, the newest style and grille pwn all others.

Its nice not having to fix junk or worry about making it across the nation without problems.

Damn stone cracked my windshield today, went from a 2 inch crack to a 5 ft crack about 10 seconds after the stone hit. Just my luck.

Haha I know I know. I knew I was going to catch wind as I have been anti 4X4 forever, but it is good fun and these trucks are not easy to find in 2wd. Trust me, I was looking.

I would much prefer the diesel, but like I said in that other thread I am assuming it is far beyond my price range.

It barely fits in my driveway.

^ looking for aftermarket black wheels for it, and hopefully I can find someone with a black bumper that wants chrome so I can trade up. Then get my grille painted black, rear bumper painted black, and I need to re-tint my windshield and I should be good to go for now. Can't wait to get new rims so I can flip the tires, I hate seeing the raised white letters. GAY

How is driving with the windshield tinted? I always thought about it but couldn't decide if I would like it or not. Every car I have had has been tinted either 15 or 20%. When I pick up my Dad's Yukon, I am going to have the fronts matched to the rest, but would also consider doing the windshield.

If you call them, tell them Eric with the Black Crew Cab told you it was this much, and he will do it for you too.

The windshield at 50% and the side windows at 15-20 is awesome. From the inside of the car, it doesn't really look tinted but from the outside you can kinda tell. Reduces glare a ton, and its not too dark at night. A few people told me to go 35%, but that would be too dark for sure on the windshield.
