Well the whole car was in a deep ditch in the middle of nowhere. No way I was getting it out, even if it magically had AWD.

Damn you stuck'er good, is there a worse feeling in the world than watching youself going into the ditch ?
Better than going into a $50,000 dollar Caddy I guess. :D

Good luck and remember the first rule of driving in snow, slow down.
On snow covered roads the posted speed limit is to fast for conditions, you could be cited. Snow=Slow

Yeah it's not borked. (sorry, couldn't resist)

Only damage I could see after the guy towed it out was the Mach 1 lip is smashed to pieces. It drove fine on the way home, but I was also driving ridiculously slow because I was a bit shaken. The tow driver followed me back to make sure the car drove fine and I was okay. Have to love nice service like that. (:

I took pictures on my phone, but I won't be able to upload them until I am in a Verizon area. Just found out my car doesn't have the $4 a year roadside service on my insurance, so the tow bill is on me. ):

don't feel bad, i drove the frontage along I43 from about Good Hope to Mequon road, and counted over 15 cars in the ditch. i missed probably 5 miles of the stretch because you can't see that far too. its funny driving ALONG SIDE the freeway, and passing traffic

So I haven't driven my car since I parked it in the parking lot outside my apartment. Of course, it snowed more, so I just brushed it all off and found more damage to the front end, besides the Mach 1 lip which is in a couple pieces.

Now to find out how much my deductible is versus the cost of a new front bumper. It's probably a good idea to get an alignment, right? It did a 360 and then a final 180 before finding it's place in the ditch.

Front bumper and Mach 1 lip, that looks about it. Car drives straight. Have a slight vibration at 70/75, so I will get my tires rotated and balanced, but that's about it. I will wait until spring and punch out the big dent in the front bumper and probably just deal with the crack in it.
