Jacobus is who we use. No reason in particular... they just always did it for the previous owners so they stopped by after we moved in.

Last week they filled us up and it was $3.269 per gallon, compared to about $2.49/gal 1 year ago. We'd used about 140gal thus far this winter. $450 to hea our house isn't bad seeing as how we're roughly 3 months into the heating season and we had some cold ass days in December. We had some $250+ gas bills before at our last place and I wonder what the average person is shelling out nowadays to heat their house with gas.

The $350 it would have been last year for the same quantity of oil woulda been nicer though.

I just had a $228 bill last month (Dec.) for a 1100 sq. ft-ish. Gas FTL.

Yes, fuel oil for the god damn lose.

Now I have natural gas and still don't use the heater though. I wonder how much it would cost me..... right now I pay about $20 a month for the gas bill, just for hot water.

Ugh.. yep, fuel oil is such a huge PITA. I also had a $228 bill for 75 gallons a few weeks ago, and even though I keep the thermostat at 60 90% of the time (and 63-65 the other 10%) I don't have much left and then it's $228 time again.

At least my landlord said he would probably be putting in gas furnaces in time for next winter... if I'm still even living here.
