I gotta find the link, but I am told that if you have recently purchased any diamonds or diamond products you are entitled a rather large partial refund courtesy of a class action lawsuit that was settled upon vs De Beers ( or however you spell it ).

Anyone else hear about this?

I think it has to be before March of 2006, not positive though.

Short version is that if you bought a diamond between January 1, 1994 – March 31, 2006 you are able to be part of the lawsuit. I won't be long-winded here; info below.

Thanks Pork, lets see what I can get here. I may not get that $4000 back, or the 5 years, but appearance mods for the grand am would be nice.

Just a fyi, Sterling Jewelers Inc. aka Kays, Shaws, Jered's, Osterman's are NOT distributors of De Beers.

Actually, thats exactly what the lawsuit was about. Basically they are being sued because they made the worlds population believe that these stones are more rare then they really are, hence the higher price tag.

It says all other competing mining companys, so I would assume that Kesslers must get there diamonds from a mine somewhere. And there prices sure as hell are inflated.
