What recievers do you need? I am not an 01 FFL, I can only do personal transfers for my personal collection (C&R). Just curious..

I am just gonna pick up a stripped lower and put that together myself and then an A3 upper with an M4 Carbine 14.5'' configuration in a complete kit. I'm not sure who to go through for the upper. I was thinking of an ArmaLite, but I was told of J&T Distributing as well over on AR15.com.

Armalite is junk, dont go that route... If you dont want to spend alot but still want somthing decent, go bushmaster then rock river if you want to spend a little more. Quality only gets better.....

Armalite is junk? When did this happen? I mean I haven't looked at AR's for a few years, having all I need already, lol, but when I was up to date with everything they were top of the line with a lifetime warrenty and the whole she-bang. My "Varmint" AR is an Armalite AAMOF. What happened to them???

Armalite isn't junk. Good stuff. I do agree, you can't go wrong with Bushmaster or Rock River. Stag, DPMS, S&W, Colt or CMMG are all quality also. I either own or have fired all of their complete rifles and own parts or have used/fired rifles using parts from all. The AR world is very compeditive/popular these days and many companys are putting out quality rifles/parts. If you put a rifle together correctly and use quality parts, it will function correctly.
