its a 10 bolt rear end bolt-in with 12 bolt axles stronger, cant get gears for a 12 bolt for a big body car so, to buy one for derby its about ($600)drum to drum, the trans cooler in the car is worth ($350) without hydro lines($75) its out of a cement mixer, the cage material thats in it all 8" channel with 4" pipes front and back with down tubes and roll over bar($300), gas tank stainless steel($100) steering column($50) 8 doubled and tubed mud tires 4 are not in the pic($300) plus the frame is not bad its been fixed and now rollin how its supposed to so the shell of the car is atleast ($300) without front bumper which is($175) plus all the bolts and other odds and ends plus the #9 wire and time to build it probably another ($100) and then the motor and trans which i sold for $500 which is also low since the trans is a fresh rebuilt chevy turbo 400, cause the whole car was a grand:thumbsup

all prices are on what i could get in the derby market if not more on some things

its a ****** ***** put both tires in then on the rim lay tube in and make sure not to pinch it, hardest part is gettin the valve stem in with like 10ply of tire lol

its a 10 bolt rear end bolt-in with 12 bolt axles stronger, cant get gears for a 12 bolt for a big body car so, to buy one for derby its about ($600)drum to drum,
the trans cooler in the car is worth ($350) 350 for a trans cooler??no way
without hydro lines($75)
its out of a cement mixer,
the cage material thats in it all 8" channel with 4" pipes front and back with down tubes and roll over bar($300),better shop around for steel
gas tank stainless steel($100) ok,maybe
steering column($50) comes in ANY car, free
8 doubled and tubed mud tires 4 are not in the pic($300) junk tires?ill give you some of those...free for the hauling
plus the frame is not bad its been fixed and now rollin how its supposed to so the shell of the car is atleast ($300) that thing would go over the scale for $100
without front bumper which is($175)
plus all the bolts and other odds and ends plus the #9 wire and time to build it probably another ($100)
and then the motor and trans which i sold for $500 which is also low since the trans is a fresh rebuilt chevy turbo 400, cause the whole car was a grand:thumbsup a rebuilt trans, after a derby is not rebuilt,it NEEDS to be rebuilt..lol

sorry tony,im having a hard time seeing this.

this is the steering wheel in the car
http://www.groppautomotive.com/steer.htm

http://www.groppautomotive.com/tranny.htm
my cooler is way better cause it dont require ice and its very heavy duty

the tires are mud tires at least 6ply rating with another tire inside with a heavy duty tube, tires arent junk been using same set for last 4yrs each tire is $70 and 20 to double and tube so they are way under what they are new

steel shit u have some good places lmk im game

right now it would weigh almost what it did stock almost 2tons stripped and bare shell would bring over 150 probably ask jason he would know

and the trans was rebuilt after last derby it is fresh lol

this shit isnt cheap to compete just like in drag racing ron hell i would like to have a motor built for my derby cars but im not spending $4000 this motor has been proven in the derby world to run 45min with no water at half to full throttle
http://www.groppautomotive.com/Ice%20Cube.htm

and also i would like to have this driveshaft which is $500 alone

I got hit by a veteran demo driver using a similar car but it wasnt all smashed up, it was a early 70'S GM sedan, it had massive heavy duty stock bumpers @ the 2006 Racine County Fair Demo.

Here was our area, clockwise from top left.
White: Ironworker truck with 6,000 pounds of any tool
Black: my old Xtreme
Green: Wes 79 Cutlass
Orange: Andy 76 Delta
Red: Me 88 Caprice
Black: Matt 89 LTD
Trailer: Welder

What a professional lettering job on that S&S 88 Car
http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd1/windsors03cobra/2-12-05003.jpg
Aftermath: Fellow who hit me well into a red while the whole track had been stopped for 30+ second, had a full speed run clear across the track with his back bumper into my right front, he was DQ'ed for doing that in the red. I lost all my coolant and kept it running for the 5 fricken minute red, I only mustered about a minute and a half on the track after the green came back out. I was able to restart it and drive off the track to the pits, albeit in reverse since I couldnt see over the hood. :D

Matt actually won the demo with a stock as hell LTD with the 5 year old daily driver battery and tyres.
